Congratulations to Joe and Sultan for being mentioned in this positive review!

5 Star Review on DealerRater -

"After my first two trips to Paragon I vowed never to go back. After speaking with Joe (the sales manager) he apologized, admitted they'd made mistakes and was determined to put things right. So I gave them a third chance Third time is a charm! I went to see a car today and it was a totally different experience from my previous visits. The car was ready on arrival, I was test driving it within a few minutes and they sales guys were really helpful. I saw a different side to Paragon today and I was impressed.

One important difference with Paragon is that they seem pretty honest and clear, with regard to pricing. The price you see is the price you pay. There weren't any nonsense fees that I've encountered at other dealerships." - alansim1970

Honda reveals next generation CR-V

Dai-honda-2012-cr-v_280

As business for Honda Motor Co. returns to normal, the news can turn back to future products, starting with the first look at the next generation of a model increasingly important to Honda, the CR-V.

Honda (NYSE:HMC) released the first image of its next generation CR-V Monday. The East Liberty-built vehicle is the top seller in its small sport-utility segment with 203,714 vehicles sold in the U.S. last year. The redesign is expected to hit showrooms before the end of the year.

In addition to exterior design improvements, Honda said the engine will be more fuel-efficient, its body weight has been reduced and the interior will be more spacious.

"The all-new CR-V will offer an added dimension of style, amazing interior versatility and Honda's latest technologies for convenience and refinement," John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda Motor Co., the automaker's U.S. sales arm, said in a release.

The concept version of the vehicle will make its debut at the Orange County International Auto Show in California in September.

The CR-V not only leads its segment, but has become a greater part of Honda's sales mix in recent years. The relaunch comes at a key point for the automaker as short supplies have hindered sales since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, but competitors such as General Motors, Toyota Motor Co. and Ford Motor Co., have been taking greater aim at the small SUV segment.

Central Ohio is the hub of Honda’s North American operations. The company employs more than 13,500 workers in Ohio, including its assembly plants in Marysville and East Liberty. In the greater Dayton region, its operations include 2,400 workers at its Anna engine plant, 1,050 workers at its Logan County transmission plant and 225 employees at a consolidation facility in Troy.

Workers in Marysville and East Liberty assemble the Honda Accord, Crosstour and CR-V and the Acura TL sedan and RDX sport-utility vehicle.

Conceived around a small "footprint" for maximum convenience in tight urban settings, P-NUT features a sleek exterior design that allows for a spacious and open interior with excellent visibility. The layout of the interior space, with its center driving position flanked by two rear seats, provides generous legroom for all occupants in a vehicle that has an exterior footprint similar to an ultra-compact car. The modular rear engine bay is designed to accommodate a wide variety of potential propulsion technologies including a conventional small displacement internal-combustion engine, a hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain, or a battery-electric powertrain.

Congratulations to Ariel for the great recommendation!

5 Star Review on Google Maps -

"Came in with my father who was looking to lease a new accord, read some reviews which were bad about paragon and know the whole car salesmen are all snakes and sharks etc... but Ariel gave us no hassle, got to the point and wasnt pushy at all, got my father in a 2011 accord and made his day. I cant speak for all of paragon but Ariel Munoz is the one who should get your business. In fact im sending out my friends to get cars from this guy! A+"

Jonatan Barahona wins a new 2012 Honda Civic for his tribute, "Forever"

TORRANCE, Calif., July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Honda announced the winner of the Sounds of Civic, a contest which encouraged Facebook fans to submit and vote for original songs inspired by each of the five 2012 Civic models; the Sedan, Coupe, Si, HF or Hybrid.

From eight top finalists, who each won $2,500 in music gear from Sam Ash Music Stores, Jonatan Barahona was selected as the winning artist. Barahona won the hearts of fans and a brand new 2012 Honda Civic with his original tribute, "Forever." A freelance piano player, Barahona used the Honda Civic Hybrid and his passion for the environment as inspiration.

"In the song, I wanted to bring to light Honda's ability to change the world through reliability and environmental responsibility. I believe that sustainable energy is something that we should be pursuing rather than digging ourselves deeper into dependence on fossil fuels," said Barahona. "[To Honda fans] Thank you so much for your votes and your support!"

Not only will Barahona be driving away in a new 2012 Civic, he will be performing his song live at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on October 1 as part of the 2011 Honda Civic Tour.

"There were so many wonderful contributions to The Sounds of Civic, but his entry stood out on production, originality, and best captured the spirit of the Honda Civic. Congratulations to Jonatan," said Kurt Antonius, assistant vice president of public relations, American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Honda fans can hear "Forever" on the Honda Civic Facebook Page and watch the video on YouTube.

Thanks to Mohammed for posting this great review for Paragon Honda

Surprised to see such a low overall score for this dealership. I just bought a 2010 CR-V from here and traded in my 06 sedan. I was offered a fair price (based on KBB value) for my trade-in and the CR-V was the lowest price within a 100 mile radius from my zip code AND in showroom condition. The people here appear very professional and even downright  law firm-like in dress. The fancy high-tech coffee machine and flat screens make waiting comfortable. As for the car buying process, it was a breeze. Maybe it's the salesman you're working with or maybe it's the fact that I knew exactly what I wanted. My salesguy was Jose Arias and he didn't try any pushy sleezeball tactics or upsells, which I was expecting and prepared for. He asked for what car I was interested in, pulled it out from their garage, offered a test drive and immediately got down to business, had my trade-in looked at by their mechanic to make sure there's no callbacks later about mechanical problems, etc. When I got to the financing part there was a minor annoyance in that the only financing option available was through Honda Finance and they didn't offer the most competitive rates, so I asked for a day to secure my own funds for the car and walked away to return with a check the next day. They let me drive off in my trade-in without protest even though I had already signed over the title to them. Everything ran smoothly and all DMV paperwork was taken care of in-house. Didn't think buying a car could be this pleasant.
