  • Paragon Honda ROCKS!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I went in with my game face and negotiating skills in tact however they did a very good job meeting my requirements. I did not feel as if they were trying to beat me in my head with prices!

The cookies were awesome as well.

I was there all day (10:30am-5:45pm) but I walked out very HAPPY and satisfied with my purchase.

I was interested in Paragon Honda after viewing the commercial with Jason G. I purchased my Certified Used 2009 Honda Accord with them in June 2012. However a week ago, I qualified for a buy back program where I was supposed to go for the Accord 2012. I made it clear that I was only interested in the CR-V 2012. Jose P. said he would do whatever it took to help me get it.

After discussing numbers and reviewing all options Jose was able to get me into a 2013 CR-V EX-L !!!! I was elated!!!! TH e payments were a tad to steep in my opinion but when I sat down with Will ( who is the best) He brought my payments in a reasonable area and I drove away with the car of my dreams at a price I would not have to live out of the vehicle I just purchased.

Lastly, the young lady who wear the blue and white stripped sweater gave a tour of my new vehicle and she was great, she showed me things I did not know existed in the vehicle.

This is the place to go! Paragon Honda is the best!!! -Michele S.

Honda Launches Corporate Social Responsibility Statement for North America and Accompanying Website

Eagle_rock_grads
In an ongoing effort to be "a company that society wants to exist," American Honda Motor Co, Inc. today announced its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Statement for North America and the launch of a complementary Corporate Social Responsibility website.

The Corporate Social Responsibility website will showcase Honda's efforts and dedication through four main pillars – environment, diversity, community, and education-- as well as a section detailing "what we believe." Each pillar will feature Honda associates and our community partners sharing programs and initiatives about which they are passionate. Through ongoing blog posts, photos and videos, we hope to highlight the stories of our community partners and share the great work they are doing. We welcome the online community to join in the conversation by commenting, sharing, participating in site surveys and creating content.

CSR Statement for North America

The launch of the CSR website coincides with Honda's announcement of a Corporate Social Responsibility Statement for North America. Reflecting Honda's long-standing humanistic philosophy, the statement affirms the company's stance on key social values, including human rights, working conditions, business ethics, diversity, environmental stewardship and community involvement. The statement highlights Honda's goal of being "a company that society wants to exist." Read the full statement.

Honda is well-known for its diverse lineup of quality automobiles under the Honda and Acura nameplates, and for its motorcycles, ATVs, power products, and marine engines. But the company is about far more than creating innovative products that exceed customer expectations. Since its establishment, Honda has been committed to developing technologies that make peoples lives better, and to developing long-lasting partnerships with the communities where we work and live.

Executive Quote

"Our new CSR website gives us a chance to share our efforts to contribute to society, and to shine a light on the admirable work of our valued community partners across North America," said Gary Kessler, senior vice president of Human Resources, Administration and Corporate Affairs. "Our goal is that the CSR website will be a place where people can contribute to an ongoing conversation about strengthening community."

"The key elements of our CSR statement are consistent with deeply held Honda beliefs and practices," said Gary Kessler, senior vice president of Human Resources, Administration and Corporate Affairs. "In a sense, the statement is nothing new for Honda: it reflects our founding company philosophy."

Hey fans! Here is a Monday Maintenance tip for you!

Roadside-flat-tire-l
Keep The Caps On

  • You step out into driveway ready to start your morning commute only to discover a flat tire. How in the heck did that happen overnight? If the tire valve is missing its cap, the culprit might be a leaky valve. Those little caps keep out dirt and moisture that can cause leaks, so be sure to keep caps on all your tire valves. Another tip: When you replace tires, remind the tire shop that you expect new valves with the tires.

  • My wonderful experience at Paragon Honda was certainly due to the exceptional service and keen advice by my salesperson, ****Mr. Zeeshan Majid****! His patience and kindness was greatly appreciated. He has a spirit of excellence to assist his customer to achieve satisfaction that was unparalleled. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will listen to your needs and keep you on budget. When many people cannot be trusted, he has been a man of his word. In a time, when many people manipulate their words and deeds, he has shown me to be a person of character. -C. Pope

Accord’s instrument panel combines beautiful form and intuitive function.

During the development of the new Accord, designers set out to create a highly functional and intuitive interface between the vehicle and the driver. Key design features include large analog instrumentation complemented with a new 8-inch color “intelligent” Multi-Information Display (i-MID) positioned high in the central part of the instrument panel.

A range of new audio systems is offered, and there’s an available easy-to-use color touch-screen display that virtually eliminates button clutter. The final elements of Accord’s smart interface approach are its steering wheel-mounted controls. By allowing the driver to operate a range of features without taking his or her hands off the wheel, the potential for driver distraction can be reduced in many situations.

Accord has elegant analog instrumentation with a sophisticated and technical appearance. A high-contrast Multi-Information Display (MID) is positioned in the center of the speedometer and provides a range of information and trip computer functions.

Attention to detail is obvious in the new Accord, with high-quality materials and finishes everywhere you look. But Honda engineers have taken the attention to detail even further, with a new one-piece soft-touch instrument panel top that completely conceals the passenger-side airbag and has a premium look and feel.

Welcome back to the work week fans! This week we have a maintenance tip to help you keep your floor mats looking brand new!

Hqdefault
For Stubborn Carpet or Mat Stains

  • After vacuuming floor mats or interior carpeting, apply foam rug cleaner to resistant stains as directed by the maker. Work the foam into a few square feet at a time, using a wet sponge or brush. Vacuum when they are all dry.

A big thank you to Jay for this amazing review! Great job Yvonne and Evelyn!

Paragon Honda - (4) Star Review on Yelp

  • We quickly walked to the CR-V in the showroom and within 5 minutes, Yvonne M. showed up with a smile and offered to help us. I told her immediately what our intentions were and she was more than willing to help. She then brought us over to the coffee station and made us coffee. We wanted our coffee with Splenda but none could be found at the station. We were asked to wait and within a minute, Yvonne came back with what we needed and we proceeded on our way.

Two sips of coffee later and a brief conversation, a white CR-V was brought to the front and we test drove it immediately. By 11:00am, we were negotiating for a price and of course, a salesman pitch was made about how the CR-V has a great market value above its current sticker price. It's all part of the game and I knew this not to be the case. We counter-offered with a more realistic price and eventually the sales manager dropped by with his pitch. I told him why it was worth selling us the car at the price we wanted so we negotiated again and I was able to purchase the car for my uncle at a lower price than he was initially going to pay for. I'm sure the dealership made their share of $$ but the most important part was that my uncle got what he wanted at lower than what he was expecting to pay.

The bank was 3 blocks away and Yvonne offered to drive us there but we declined. We came back in less than 20 minutes with a cashier's check and the deal was sealed. The car we wanted was in another location and needed to be transferred to the lot. This would take a while because flatbed trucks unload 5-8 cars at a time. We knew we had to wait but guess what Yvonne did? She sent us to Evelyn and she gave us a tour of the white CR-V we initially test drove and she showed us how to work the car from using the radio to cruise control and the 3 views of the standard back-up camera. She showed us all the equipment and told us we could come back anytime so she could pair our phones with the new car. We then proceeded to have lunch and came back by 1:30pm. Still no car but we were told that it would be there in another 2 hours.

Our options were to wait or Yvonne offered to deliver the CR-V to my uncle's home address. We also declined. During this time, we signed the rest of the paperwork and took care of the car insurance. We decided the next best thing to do was to go home, relax and come back at 7pm.

We come back at 7pm and the car was there. We took another drive in it to make sure everything worked and we were out of the dealership by 7:20pm.

If you'd like to take a minute to read some advice to my fellow Yelpers, it would be:
    1. Do research on the car you want. We NOW know financing through Honda will require you to purchase the extended warranty but you can cancel.
    2. Know the price you want to pay for the car (you got multiple websites that help you to gage the price) and be ready to walk away.
    3. Come to terms that the dealership will try to make more money out of you. Be ready to walk away if you feel disrespected.
    4. Know that shopping for the right salesperson is as important as shopping for the right car.

So, let me tell you what did work. One single salesperson was hungry enough to take a risk early in the morning to work with a customer. This same person offered us coffee and had it done the way we wanted. We were taken seriously and respected. This same person took steps beyond their duty to offer to drive us to the bank and bring the car to the location of the purchaser.

It doesn't take a lot to appease a customer but on this day, Paragon Honda got it right. You put Yvonne and Evelyn together and you got a duo that will ensure that you have happy customers who will take the time to write a review like I did. -Jay L.

Good afternoon fans! Here is a Monday Maintenance tip for you!

Dash_gauges
Clean Dash Gauges Carefully

  • Use a soft damp cloth to lightly wipe dust from the clear plastic lenses on your dashboard. Too much pressure will scratch them. Too many scratches can make it difficult to read your gauges under certain lighting conditions.

Another fantastic 5-star review for Paragon Honda! Thank you Raisa, for sharing your wonderful experience with us.

Paragon Honda - (5) Star Review on Yelp

  • I hate HATE hate the experience of having to deal with a car dealership for obvious reasons. I consider myself an informed consumer who does her homework and someone you cannot really b.s. So here I was in the middle of an unexpected life change that required me to turn in my 2 door 2004 Civic for a new car. I dragged my feet going into the dealership.

I was astounded by the level of professionalism and outstanding customer service shown by the Sales Manager Jason Graciano and my sales rep Yvonne. I never felt pressured  or pushed. I went in because i saw a ridiculously low lease price on a 2012 accord EX-L V6 (and in the back of my head i was thinking watch it be a hoax to lure customers in and be a bait and switch like what a lot of dealerships tend to do) Turns out the dealership wasn't joking, the price was exactly what they advertised. Walked through the whole process in a breeze.  The finance guy didn't pull any tricks  at the end either. He was also professional and gave the deal as was discussed. Didn't try to sell me anything "extra".

I cannot praise enough Jason Graciano and Yvonne. I feel like i am in a twilight zone because when do you ever get excellent customer service at a car dealership? or come out feeling like you weren't ripped off??

I don't know if my experience is different because I have leased a vehicle but I would say go see Yvonne and Jason. Thanks to them I will be returning as soon as my lease term would allow me to turn in for a new car. They have me as a customer for life. -Raisa A.

Get Small

Ph
The 2013 Accord’s exterior is shorter and lower, but it offers key passenger space improvements inside. Nice trick.

What do customers want in this class? As much interior room as they can get while keeping the car’s exterior dimensions in check, so it’s easy to maneuver and park.

Honda engineers call the approach “Man Maximum, Machine Minimum” because – well, because they’re engineers and they wear white uniforms and talk that way.

The rest of us would probably just call the new Accord smaller on the outside and big on the inside. But those engineer uniforms really are pretty cool.
