  • " I was in a lease with Honda, and decided to buy-out my Honda Accord. Harry Lu made what could be a lengthy process very smooth and easier than expected. He is very friendly, professional and courteous. Each visit I was welcomed warmly and was attended to every step of the way with Harry, Sam, and also Gary (Business Manager)who explained all the details and both tried to ensure I was not waiting more than I had to. The customer service was excellent and I will definitely recommend Paragon Honda, especially Harry and Gary, to all of my friends and family. Thank you for all the help, and mostly for making it all a positive experience!!" - elle718

  • "My purchasing experience was great! Richard was both friendly and professional. Unlike most salespeople, he did not pressure me and took his time with every question I had. Paragon Honda has a valuable employee with Rich and i wish him all the best. Thank you so much for my first new car! Lets not forget Rachael who was also very sweet and was extremely detailed with everything that had to be explained.
This is my third car purchased from Paragon, that should say everything." - ginagodoy

Elsie is on fire! Keep up the great work!

Two (5) Star Reviews on DealerRater -

  • "I had a great experience at the Paragon Honda dealer. I went in for service and Joel offered me to exchange my 2009 Pilot for a 2011 lease. I had a year left on my car but since the monthly cost was the same it sounded interesting. Joel found the car that we wanted, called us, we went in for the exchange and within two hours we had a new car. Everybody involved was great. Elsie showed us all the features in the new car and was professional and friendly! I don't know the name of the gentleman who printed the contract but he was professional too.
I would recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a hassle free deal." -

  • " So impressed with the atmosphere of warmth, friendliness, professionalism and personal touch of everyone. The Business Manager Joseph Choi was very patient to explain the pros and cons of our credit and monthly amortization options. Very "going the extra mile" patience and genuine concern. The Sales Person that handled us, Mohammed Majumder gave me the impression of "I can trust this guy" and not just after our business. Cool and very attentive to our every question. The Delivery Coordinator, Elsie Tavarez was superb. Very well explained the features of the 2011 Honda Accord that we got. Very professional and yet very warm personality you would not hesitate to ask questions! But I think the one that needs congratulations is the Manager of Paragon Honda, Northern Boulevard, Clyde. He is an example to his people of his rapport with the customers, his sincerity and helpfulness."That spirit" is passed down to the people that we got to work with at that Dealer.I am definitely going to tell my friends and associates to get their Hondas from THIS Dealer. I will definitely get my next Honda from them. God bless you all and keep up the good work." - tonyvalencia

Honda To Launch New Civic at Frankfurt Motor Show

01
Honda will launch the new Civic at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Developed specifically for the European market, the Civic will be offered exclusively as a five-door hatchback and will compete in the C-segment. It will reach European showrooms in early 2012.

In the build-up to the reveal of the new Civic, Honda is releasing a series of short form films detailing its development. The first of these focuses on ride & handling.

New Honda Civic: Ride and Handling - Two Generations Ahead

The ride and handling of the new Honda Civic has been developed in Europe. Working closely with European colleagues and external experts, the Japanese development team analysed the current Civic's performance. This led to a focus on improving the ride quality of the new Civic, while retaining the sporty handling of the current model.

Honda's engineers were conscious that European roads are some of the most varied in the world, mixing fast highways with poorly surfaced country lanes. Initial testing was carried out at the Research and Development facilities in Japan, before the development team transferred to Europe to finalise the car.

"Every time we visited Europe during the development of the car, we achieved significant improvements in the ride and handling, tuning the car for the local demands," says Kazuo Sunaoshi, Development Leader - Chassis. "The new Civic is not just an evolution. In terms of ride quality, we have taken a major step forwards, equivalent to two generations of development."

The new Civic retains the largest cabin space within the C-segment by utilizing the compact torsion beam rear suspension from the current Civic. To further improve body control and stability at high speeds, the wall thickness of the torsion beam and the diameter of the stabilizer bar have been increased. In addition, overall ride comfort and handling have been developed through the introduction of new fluid-filled compliance bushings to the rear suspension system.

Three Positive Reviews on DealerRater -

  • I visited a few Honda dealerships in the past week and none of them compare to Paragon Honda. From the minute I walked in to the time my car was ready they were extremely helpful. Stanley my sales guy was professional, patient with me and not pushy like the other dealers I visited. I highly recommed Paragon Honda and ask for Stanley. - carmine0407

  • dear Paragon Honda,

One afternoon a few weeks ago, I had spoke with the Sales Manager, Jason Graciano, a few who was very helpful and specific. We went into the dealership later that day and met with him, and then dealt with Ivonne Mirand. She was a pleasure to work with, and made our experience of purchasing our new Honda Civic LX a very good one.

We will highly recommend your dealership to anyone we know who might be looking to buy a Honda.

    Well done Paragon! Great service!

    all the best,
    Andrew & Rebeca

  • My experience at Paragon ended up being a successful one, but it would not have been if it weren't for Sal and Joe C., who really proved to me that making me feel comfortable with the deal I was getting was important to them.
After I let them know what I was interested in, Sultan and Sal showed me every vehicle that fit my criteria. They were well-informed and more than willing to help in any way they could. They were not pushy and I did not feel pressured. They referred me to the sales manager Joe with some questions that I had and he was also pleasant to deal with. I ended up buying a 2010 CRV after my second visit there.
The day after I purchased the car, however, I felt like I had gotten a raw deal. This was the first car I purchased where I had to deal with F&I, and the guy really laid it on thick. I called the next day, upset with the fact that I purchased an extended warranty and an alarm that I didn't really need. Joe was able to work with me to get rid of the extras that I didn't want, get the number to where I wanted, and they were even able to get my interest rate down to where I thought it should be. This was after I had already signed the original contract.
The day I picked up the car, Sal provided excellent customer service and went out of his way to make sure the car was ready and that I was satisfied.
All in all, I walked away happy, and that's what matters. I noticed a crack in my windshield after I took the vehicle and Joe even had that taken care of for me without any hassle. These guys are definitely willing to go out of their way to make you feel satisfied. Recommended! -

The Honda Air Concept

Air_01
At 800 pounds and powered by compressed air, this is not your average concept vehicle. Envisioned for the L.A. Auto Show Design Challenge by the Honda Advanced Design Center in Pasadena, CA, the Honda Air is another take on the future of alternative-powered vehicles. The Design challenge rules were simple: envision a 1,000-lb., four-passenger vehicle that is both comfortable and safe, while delivering excellent driving performance. With a design inspired by modern roller coasters and skydiving wing-suits, this is a four-passenger vehicle that will definitely make an impression in the carpool lane.

The 2012 Civic Sedan Keeps Racking Up The Awards!

Accolades

Honda has won the first ever Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Award for Non-Luxury Brands. In addition, four Honda models won model-level 2011 Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Awards. Having a clear idea about a car's future resale value is an important part of the car-buying process, and Honda is proud to be recognized for how well our vehicles hold their value over time.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named the 2012 Civic Sedan a "2011 Top Safety Pick," based on more stringent standards implemented in 2010. The Civic Sedan received top ratings in each category including frontal offset, side impact and rear impact crash safety tests and the new roof-strength test.

Honda has a long history of environmental leadership, including the introduction of America's first mass-produced hybrid, the [original] Honda Insight, and the first vehicle to meet California's Low-Emission Vehicle standards, 1996 Civic well in advance of regulatory requirements. Acknowledgment of our commitment to innovation can be seen by Honda's topping the rankings as the country's greenest automaker by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS)—for the fifth consecutive year[1].

Blink-182 returns to lead Honda Civic Tour

Blink182epkprimary

When the Honda Civic Tour was looking for a headliner for its 10th anniversary jaunt, organizers went back to their roots, signing pop-punk powerhouse Blink-182, which was the main attraction on the initial edition.

It is kind of an apt pairing, as Blink-182 was there for the emergence of the annual tour, and this year marks the re-emergence of Blink-182, which has a new record, "Neighborhoods," set for a Sept. 27 release, the group's first in nearly eight years. "Up All Night," the album's first single, was released last month and hit the Top 10 on Billboard magazine's alternative singles chart.

Since their fans will not have heard the new record when the Honda Civic Tour -- which also includes My Chemical Romance and Manchester Orchestra -- comes to Hartford's Comcast Theatre Sunday, the band members plan on performing a good amount of older hits in addition to the new tunes.

"I think it will be a good mix of the new stuff and the music that we've been playing for the past couple of decades," singer-bassist Mark Hoppus said in a recent conference call. "I think that all of us know that when people come to a Blink show, they're going to want to hear `All of the Small Things' and `Rock Show' and `Stay Together for the Kids' and the singles that we've had over the years.

"And we will put some of the new songs into the set list, as well. (We're) just working to figure out what those songs are going to be."

Blink-182 went on hiatus in 2005, after singer-guitarist Tom DeLonge left to form his own band, Angels and Airwaves. Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker stayed together, starting the band +44. Barker also performed with other bands, dabbled in producing record and starred in an MTV reality series, "Meet the Barkers." Barker also nearly died in a plane crash in 2008 in South Carolina, which took the lives of four people.

DeLonge, who also took part in the media session, said the members' work outside of Blink-182 has helped shape the sound of "Neighborhoods."

"I think we've had an incredible time bringing all of our skill sets that we do in our off time to this and I think it's been a lot of fun for every person to contribute things that they've learned in different places," he said. "And it's one of the things that has made this band so strong."

The sessions for "Neighborhoods" were different than in the past, with DeLonge doing his parts in a studio in San Diego, where he resides, and Hoppus and Barker working in Los Angeles. DeLonge and Hoppus said the two-studio system is vital for getting the work done without infringing too much on the members' personal lives and outside projects.

"I think it has been a really great way for all of us to be able to both work intensely and also be able to spend time with our families," Hoppus said. "The thing that's changed as far as our recording schedule is that when we were younger, we used to start in the studio at like noon or 2 in the afternoon and go until midnight or 2 in the morning.

"And now, for me, I'm in the studio at 9 in the morning and I'm usually done by 5 and I can go home and be with my family and I still get the same amount of work done in a day as if I started at noon.

"And because we have two studios, we don't have to sit around the studio while another person is writing their part or tracking their part. ... It just frees up a lot of time that way."

With the Blink-182 machine back up and running, the members all speak of it as the main artistic project in their lives, not a one-shot reunion event.

"Blink is our priority as a band. It's what we've done since Day 1 for almost 20 years at this point," Hoppus said. "The other projects that we have in our lives allow us to kind of break away and do something creative and bring that knowledge and those skills back to Blink as a band."

And, having been around for nearly two decades, Hoppus and DeLonge said they find it "weird" to hear that they have inspired some of the younger bands that are starting to make waves.

"It's strange to be cited as an influence when we still feel like we're trying to figure out what we're all about in the first place," Hoppus said. "I'm very grateful that a lot of bands that are having a lot of success right now cite us as an influence. That's a huge honor."

DeLonge attributed it to the staying power of Blink-182's music.

"Maybe that just happens to bands that have been around," he said. "But I also think there's something that's really honorable in a band that can preserve and push forward a legacy and continue to take risks."

The Comcast Theatre is at 61 Savitt Way, Hartford. Sunday, Aug. 14, 7 p.m. $20-$85. 800-745-3000, www.LiveNation.com.

"Camila was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional, honest, and sincere. Camila was understanding to my situation and worked to the best of her ability to complete the process and get me driving that day! Even though I told her initially that I was just looking (who's really just looking? that is what the internet is for), she had the patience to show me around and not disregard me because I wasn't in the market for a more expensive car. The general manager was also a complete professional and an enjoyable pressence." - mattmaniac

"I went into Paragon Honda after contacting them through the Costco buying program. I spoke with Rachel who gave me a price quote over the phone. I went into Paragon the
next day and met Ivonne and Evelyn who helped write up the deal. Everything I spoke with Rachel about was written up and saved. I had the contract written up and signed
in about 10-15 minutes all while being offered coffee and warm chocolate chip cookies.
My husband could not believe how quick, easy and pleasant this transaction was. Ivonne told me the car would be in within 1-2 weeks. She said it would probably be sooner but she did not want to promise anything in case there was a delay. Well within three days the car was in. I went to Paragon and picked up the car. Aman was great to deal with in regards to financing. Elsie showed me all of the features on the car and really took her time. She asked if I had any other questions and left me with her days she worked and number to reach her at if I had any questions later. THANK YOU PARAGON FOR BEING TRUE PROFESSIONALS YOU MAKE CAR BUYING WHAT IT SHOULD BE A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
THANKS AGAIN" -
